...What ? Mermaids are cute and gentle ?? Say it to the families of the sailors which broke their boat on rocks, attracted by their singing !

Thanks. But the idea isn't very original; in fact mermaids are evil and/or monsters since two millenniums (cf. the sirens in the antiquity). It's just because of the story of Hans Christian Andersen (~1835) that they became romantic heroins that looks for love. Peoples don't have memory... ;-)

u're right, pumpkinman. i just read about those mermaids in greek mythology and at first, doubted that these beautiful creatures lure men from their boats to their certain deaths. hehehe! ~ :D

I'm not an expert in greek mythology but I know the Odysseus for a long time :).

Your comment is very useful because it shows me that I forgot to give information about the model source : The (wonderful) U-Boat is made by Anders Lejczak ([link]). I just want to work ambiance and lighting in this scene.
